Where did you find the model # on the bike? Guessing the speeds are low to high as listed by model # listing in owners guide and parts list to accommodate various speed restrictions throughout the United States. On the page 23 in the parts listing number 10 is the only part throughout the entire breakdown that varies for the three model numbers. I wonder if they restricted this bike via variation

I just held these up to my av88 and they are about the same rise, swept back a little less and just a bit wider. Could cut a little, throw them in a vise and bend them back a bit with a fatty pipe for close to exact fit.

Could be bad condenser. When they go bad they can make an erratic spark that looks right but is not. Also could be crank seals. The ignition systems on these are Bosch same as on Puchs.

Reed valves are not my specialty. Was wondering if crank seals were leaking it doesn't have positive pressure going to intake ports?

90psi compression repair manual says 120 plus. Aside from The usual suspects, decompression valve, head gasket, cylinder base gasket and rings, will bad crank seals cause a low compression reading? Yes I tested with throttle wide open. This is my first Hobbit but have had a dozen or so mopeds and currently 11 bikes so I get the concept here. TIA

There will be cutting, there will be bracketry. I will get the tank and seat aligned right. Full tear down and automotive paint. Thinking black and an off white to match the seat with red pinstriping maybe. Previous owner already molested it so not going stock here. It is/was a yellow Pinto maybe the chrome on top of the tank is still good under the shitty spray paint job?
