it blew a 12 volt bulb but that's all I had it running to. I will have it running to a 12 v bulb and a 6 V bulb in the future and am trying not to blow the 6V. I found a 6v regulator on treatshttp://www.treatland.tv/yamaha-FS1-6V-regulator-p/yamaha-fs1-6v-regulator.htmit only has one wire any Idea how to hook it up? in parallel with the circuit?
ok will grab one off of treats.
nope. would that do it on its own? where should I get one for cheap? and sorry for the really dumb questions I kinda suck at wiring.
I have a yamaha G7S I am slowly working on. I finally got the headlight and taillight mounted up. I know which wires give me power off the magneto but when I wired one to the tail light it blew in 5 min. this is not surprising however I was wondering how I could get a suggestion to stop this from happening? my brain is telling me to throw a resistor and fuse in line would this work? if yes can I
thank you all very much it was the timing. well mostly a sheared off woodruff key. thanks again for the right direction to go in.
nope. but that sounds reasonable to do.
1972 yamaha g7s 80cc single cylinder and carb
hello I have a g7s, I know technically a motorcycle. If I push start it I can almost get it to run, but when it runs it does so with very little power. Then in 2 seconds at most it back fires and dies. I think it is because I cleaned out the carb and let it sit in soap causing small pitting. but all the holes are still there and all rubber/ jets were removed before this. carb has since been clea
I mean it is possibly to style it to look like such
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Honda-C70if you have more in depth questions here is a forum for C-70swe can answer a ton of questions because a lot of us have and love those bikes. also is it just vibrations making the chain hit some thing or?
does it go boom? if yes then probably a bit much. naw the real problem with compression is heat. if you can get it to run decently I don't think 230 is nuts.
Here is my 80cc shifty i like it but need to throw on the head light
So I got my yamaha g7s running again and like a moron took it for a joy ride with out a lock washer on the nut that holds on the magneto. So about 2 miles down the road i lost it. Any idea what the thread size is? Should be the same for a yg1, g6 or fizzy thanks
my fa 50 got like 120mpg unfortunately the stock tank is not like half a gallon and not the full gallon i thought it would be :(. it also did 35 but yeah different times in its life.
i used to do the no hands trick all the time on a vespa p150 yeah the ones with the engine on one side and could get about a mile in our subdivision, down hill, neutral, even with all the corners so umm idk i just like that story but point is you can keep it balanced.
yg1 parts work i think but just as far as the engine goes.
i took mine off and made a cover for the hole it came out off. if you run air through it the pump will seize due to lack of lubrication.
not very common, not a good dirt bike, but better engine than the moped version. as for that specific magnum x I have no idea.
do you have a vacuum line going back to the fuel valve? is your float stuck? fuel valve clogged?
ahh but science... the reaction for oxygen and gas is like 7 to 1 or at least that order of magnitude. however we have nitrogen in our air so it turns into some where around 14 to 1 which we never run on a two stroke because we need more lubrication and your bike goes scree seize at that ratio. spliting water into oxygen and hydrogen mearly gives H2 and O2 that react with the fuel at ideally 7-1
it will still lube the main crank. you will be fine as long as you mix 50-1 at least I was. you injector injects at about 25-1 there for all the excess oil.
you can run premix through the carb. just make sure you plug the hole that the oil used to inject into and that the pump is removed or has lubrication.
umm set your float. and are you lean?
most of those guys in indo just run the stock forks with either springs cut in half or taken out. not the best for daily use or turns but good for drag racing.
nope can't put a turbo on a two stoke it slows the whole thing downthat's this things enginenot saying I could do it. defiantly not saying you should even try on a stock bike as there are cheaper less frustrating upgrades that will add more speed.
weed wacker engine so worse than lifan...better quality just worse design for a vehicle. better design for a weed wacker though.edit to reflect its a honda.
it uses a weed wacker motor....
it would take Shaw and a bike that took forever to get to top speed.
yup top two have minirelli engines bottom one is a puch dart with a e 50 parts are fairly easy to get from treatland.tv umm what more u want to know?
