So I made this intake and in the process I dinked the mating surface.(See Pic) Now I have two options.1. RUN IT2. remill and use a shimright now it fits a 19 Dellorto with no shim perfect, basically I'm wondering if anyone here has run without a shim and had success or do I need a shim? If I need the shim that would make my choice simple.
On the Grande, I welded the sub frame the width was fine the length just needed a little room. And the Pipe is so low it's the only thing I don't like but I put a side bleed on a broken Simo proline its sick. The front basket is custom fit to an 18 pack it works great. 6 packs too.
To go single speed to variated it will cost you 200-500 dolla1. Var/clutch 65-125 used or new2. rear trasmission 100-275 with or without speed gears3. front variatior 40-110 stock vs. poliniif you looking to do 50 your looking a the upper end of the scale.
The bell locks down on the washer and the washer does not spin.
I've been trying mine out and running into the same thing of it locking down.first I ground down the center of the bell - thats stupid won't help it just slides on more nowsecond I took down the starter bell cus after I removed the center that started to rub - now I'm back to where I started yeh!Third I pulled the seal and the cir clip to find the washer and the clutch body are one
I'd buy a set, but I'd rather make my own. Any chance you'd throw up the CAD or maybe just give dimensions.
I'm shocked it's still available!
The picture needs to be an elevation of the variator side of the crank, basically right down the shaft.
I'm trying to increase the intake duration on my kickstart vespa crank and I was hoping someone could take a picture of their minty new anticipato racing crankshaft so I could copy the lobe. I'm gonna make a tempate on the laser cutter at work and then grind out the material to match. I know there are other threads on this topic but nobody really gives a good answer on how to do this. I
There are differences between single speed hubs and vario hubs. You could machine the inner hub part to work, you would have to take down the aluminum the the small pulley shaft goes through. Then drill out the other bearing holes. The outer plate would need aluminum added to accept the long vario shaft. So while it is not impossible you would need a milling machine and an aluminum welding set up.
This is mine before I made the seat. It's fastish, has polini stuff in there no speedo tho.
I used a piece of wood and a shit load of hot glue one time to pop out a dent. Just like the "pops a dent" thing you see on TV.
What's with the silicone implant looking thing as a front fender?
It's been done in euro, there must be a pivot in the frame.
YA Local if possible but if not I can afford to ship.
Hit the Old KHZ garage, Ill bet there is one on the floor no one wants.
I've made my own lighten clutch bells and on STOCK bikes I noticed an rpm and a top speed gain. On my metra I noticed nothing but bell warp, so the balance must have been off just slightly. If you took a stock PUCh and slapped this bell in it would go faster and have higher rpm's I think that is what 77 is saying. Remember stock PUCHs are restricted detuned little engines.
Nope, but I do want to know what the Timing trigger does?
That second Video is pure gold, 50 seconds in ROOF.
Im in Boston and would give you 225 for it. It just will take me a while to get to Nh as I have no car.
