The Choke on my cady doesn't seem to do anything at, and especially doesn't seem to help it start at any point. Any ideas for making my choke actually work? When it is a bit colder in the morning, I have to pedal like crazy for blocks to get the thing started.gb

Hi Steve,Mine has the stock Carb. I think it only goes 25 tops, but whoever sold it to me had cut the odomoter/speedomoter so until I get the new wire in this weekend I won't really know. My choke doesn't seem to do anything at all, I don't think it's installed in any meaningful way. Which means I have to pedal like crazy for about 2 blocks before it takes off for me.Are you

Hi,I just picked up a Cady moped and got it running. The brakes don't work but that's not too hard to fix on my own. I believe on the right handlebar is the choke? It doesn't seem to do anything on my moped. Can anyone confirm that's where it's located and if they have problems with it?Has anyone rigged up a cady with signal lights, or know of a website explaining how

Hi All,Someone stole my little yellow cady moped this weekend, so now I guess I'm looking for a new moped. Preferably something in saskatchewan. I spent a LOT of money this summer turning the cady into a lean mean running machine, so now i just want something that runs right away that I don't have to spend all summer fixing. Damn thieves. So anyways, looking for a running moped in Sask

That is the funniest thing. My wife laughed and laughed at the image, and I emailed the link to my best friend. Thanks for the hard work. I'm not the best at doing anything to my moped, so that seems like a pretty big job to try to undertake, but if I could photoshop a round light onto my ACTUAL moped, you'd have me converted.gb

I'm looking for the frame piece that goes around front of it to hold it all together. Would be similar to the idea of a ring that screws onto a mason jar that holds the flat metal to the glass, if that makes any sense at all. In the attached picture, I believe it would be the meatl piece that holds the glass to the frame. Would you have that piece. If so, I would be happy to get it, or th

I'm looking for the bezel for the front light for an early 70's Cady moped. Does anybody have one for sale, or know of a good idea as to how to create a replica? Also, I'm looking for the rear cover for the back light for same moped.Cheers,Greg B.

Hi All,Last friday I had my moped stolen. It was a big write up in the paper this week, and as a result I got my moped back! It actually came back a different color and tricked out, but I know it's my moped down deep. A little graffiti remover has revealed my Cady. If I get a chance, I'll post the link to the article in the paper about my poor lost moped.Cheers,Greg B.
