Polini son. Port match it, tune it, re-gear,FLY. If you build a polini right make sure your running a few jets rich for the city because the damn weather changes every second. Break it in hella well and don't harass the fuck out of it. You don't always need to be running your kit at wot in the city.
Look for my old post. I did a custom setup all the pic's should still be up.
1spds In my opinion suck fat ones. 2 speeds also have there ups and downs. A two speed hauls ass in taking off and top speed, never run out of power and they are totally awesome. If you don't take good care of them and constantly harass and abuse them then they will fail.
p.s Fuck a fuse for such a minor application you should trust yourself to not have to use fuses. also strip 1/4 inch of the wire so there is not bare wire showing past the insulated housing of the terminals. Also please tell me you actually have a crimper and are not just using diagonal cutters.
Common Harold. Make a single ground from every switch, crimp on female spade terminals onto BLACK wire. and then on the other end of that put a ring terminal or w,e style of connection you want to make. Make sure you color code the wires as black only for ground and red for everything else. once the ground is set then theres no way to mess up. each switch is labeled on the sides by the terminal as
Dude fuck your life, "high-speed bearings and seals, which is about $100" Are you seriously smoking crack? First off I have never heard of high speed bearings or seals, and if they existed they would not be over 100$ Please do not mention the name ygmpc as we do not relate in anyway. If I were still big on mopeding I would totally help you port your case and have you stick around as im
no performance difference.
Yes it is. Probably a new cylinder.
Dude I ride a ex250R and the disk brake is *WAY* to big to be used on a moped. Plus it weights alot also. Look for something smaller like a dirtbike and even that is still to big. Running a big rotor on a moped that only goes about 40/50 and trying to stop it with such a large rotor would vibrate like fuck because the bike isnt that heavy and it will be really really sensitive.
Nope they dont come in 38 unless you probably order from 50cc.nl. What you can do is get the 40th one. And no its not as simple as drilling the inner diameter of the sprocket is to small to fit the hub of wheel. Been there done that.
Yes make sure to upjet also. Remember tho this will make your bike a lot louder.
No, the thing your designing is a silencer not a "PERFORMANCE" exhaust. A performance exhaust has a expansion chamber.
The cones almost never go bad.
Nope it will deffinetly not fit. Ugh mabey later today I can get a measurment. I havnt ridden lately so I left my ped in my sis garage on the other side of the city, Il let you guys know. Its pretty fat.
Look at my profile, its a pretty clear pic of it. As of now my bike has a magnum forks with diskbrakes but I lost all those pics, Theres a post on how I did it with more pics of how it looks. But that tire is deffinetly bigger then a lot of other tires sold.
I dont know if they will fit the back but I have that tire on the front of my maxi. Its one sick tire, fucking huge and has fantastic grip.
Holy shit dude. That is sick. I still owe you cash, were you guys meeting monday?
Mine will dog a lot of peds off the line and still own in topend. 18x40. boss,polini,15mm,matching transfers, highcomp head.
15mm bing. Is the most common carb ran with a polini.
Take your stock airfilter and pull it apart. It should brake apart in 2 halves. In the half that connects to your carb should be a metal screen pull that out. Take a peice of pantyhose and stretch it ove the opening, rubberband it or hose clamp or tape it in place. now atach it back to your carb. Dont use the other half of the airbox. Now upjet accordingly. Pull your head and see if there is a met
no a 55/56. Dude dont mod the air box just make yourself a airfilter, trust me it will help your bike and sound a lot better.
What company points did you purchase? Bosch? If its bosch then its oem and shouldnt have a problem with that. Last I looked theres supposed to be a peice of cotton infront of the nub to prevent that from happening. I think (been a while since i dealt with points.
Your probably also stoned but that would work, exactly how you explained it. Since your not a n00b when it comes to nitrous and know how to richen the mixture. The only thing im thinking that wouldnt let that work is that your plug chop would never be consistant because plug chops are done at wot and since you cant hit the pipes highest rpm range without the boost it will never be jetted right. st
Metrakit, Its non reedvavle and steel bore so it can be bored or re honed over and over if you fuck up. Performance isnt as good as a polini but its way better then stock.
The carb fits fine its just the internal diameter that matters.
pour a little on top then rub it in till its all covered reaply till fully covered.
Yes its a restrictor that makes the original carb of 14mm down to 12- it was a method of restrictions to some bikes, to only allow them to do a 20-25. pull that out and measure the intake. Or read the number on the side. It should either be a 14 or a 12.
Which intake do you have? The bendy one or the short one. What size is the intake? Depending on you, Do you ever plan on expanding your bike? or leaving it stock? If stock I would get the 14.14 if uprgades in mind I would get the 15.15.
Buy a 14.5mm drill bit. or what ever is equivilent in sae.
