^ This is why all the "older" cars are getting harder to find, as even bargain basement cars ie Nissan Versa, Mitsu Mirage, Cololla's are so complex they get junked when a new set of headlight buckets and some hand bending would get it street legal....sigh. Never had a car blow an airbag, not wrecked one in over 20 yrs lol, can you still drive them? Like is there something that kill

That will class as a motorcycle in this country, never registered a bike from another country before, but some here have I'am sure. I would consult with the local DMV, if you have no paperwork for the bike you will prob have to do a lost title form or something, but the DMV is the place to start, allow some time.

Like this? If it counts, next challenge, moped in line or at the drive thru of your choice.

^ That's how they are designed now, the whole car takes the impact and dissipates it, great for saving your ass, not so much for repairing your car, glad you were not hurt.

It was bad here last weekend, but nothing like some of the links, we got it bad last summer too, one day all the smoke was on the ground, whole area smelled like a campfire, amazing considering it came from Canada...it must REALLY suck there! Stay safe, and chew each breath carefully!

I did for several jobs, about 6 miles round trip, but at both places I could bring the bike into the shop, I could ped to my current job but it would take FAR too long, hell it takes longer to take the bus to my current job than to drive. :/ Security of the bike is a BIG deal when deciding to commute, in some cases a bicycle will be more welcome in more businesses than a moped, also consider an e

It was a long shot, but damn it looks the same, right down to the fading on the tail cone, bump for an amazing bike!

Beautiful....did you happen to get this from a guy from MN? I looked at one that appeared identical, down to the hidden signal batt box. Wish you were closer, GLWS! :)

If it's the stock carb set to factory specs, if it does not work you have an air leak or the carb is not clean enough yet.

If it's registered file a police report, cruise around your area, if not running could be stashed nearby? Post flyers with a no questions asked reward. Alert local towing company's, offer a finder's fee, same at scrapyards. Best of luck with recovery!!

I never used the kill on any of my Mobys, never an issue with carbon on the decomp either.

Stock av7 50v went 34 or so for me on the flats for me in '83....i did the rebel Moby exhaust mod back then way pre MA, got to 35 on police radar...well greased variator, greased wheel bearings, and I was a LOT lighter back then! Only bike that beat me back then was a stock TSM, and it was close. But I lost the race by a wheel length. Heard great things about the Sachs D bikes.

I remember going to Hopkins Schwinn as a kid, they sold everything, from bicycles to motorcycles, they also sold Motobecanes, I learned a lot about them there, and from hanging out with the service guys, I did not buy my first bike there, had to get used, but already knew all about my 50V in '83! The local hardware store also sold mopeds, LEM's, they looked like really nice bikes too, al

How is your fuel flow? Is there enough in the tank? Those have a weird purge valve, under the seat I think? Did you use it when filling up? Is the tank vent clear?

The problem I see with "full coverage" on a moped, is who decides what it's worth? Prob not you, so after a few yrs of premiums you have paid more for ins than the bike is worth? The thing you want covered is YOU, the bike is basically disposable, unless you have some high dollar restoration, but that would prob be best handled by a specialty ins company.
Stephen Keller — 17 days ago
^ lol, right? On the other hand, on a moped frame the cops may leave you be? Around here they HATE bolt on bike engine/meth rockets....but pretty much ignore mopeds?
