no torch. in fact i have to buy all new tools cuz all my old ones left when the man did...lol... all i have right now is a couple screwdrivers, a hammer, needlenose pliers, and a wire cutter. so sad... not even a socket set left. :))

getting closer to thinking of starting this thing. i realize however that i would be a fool to do so with only one spark plug on hand. any suggestions on how many i should start out with? just a reminder: this ped hasnt run in a few years and I'm working on a very limited budget or i would just buy 20 of em....lol.

sorry its so grainy... lighting sux in my room at night... hope it helps!also, somewhere on here in repairs i once posted some pics of the inside of the throttle assembly when i was trying to find out exactly where to attach the cable... they may be helpful to you too... ill see if i can find the link...

i dont think its incapable. as far as i can tell, its at this point a matter of a few bolts and some wiring repairs and just starting the thing... i just think its gonna sit there. the curse of being single and unable to put a 4 yr old on the back of the thing... i'd be lucky to be able to ride it twice a month if my work schedule allows... i hate to see it go to waste.i might just have t

if i were closer, id let ya get ya hands on my ped to increase ya numbers, since its now probably gonna just sit there as a wierd bedroom decoration unless i can manage to find someone nearby enough (and competant enough) to help out with it.

sadly, there is nothing stamped into the frame... not even a blemish to be found that could be a painted over vin.... im at a loss w/o anyone else to look, as we here cannot find anything that even hints at a hidden vin... and yes i have removed the motor etc... still nothing... this would be so much easier if i could find the darn vin...

you can apply for a new vin... on the form there is a box that you check under reason for new vin. the box says something like "number missing". thats what the lady at the local DMV (here in NY) gave me for when i go to register mine...the form is called "application for vehicle identification number" and its form # mv-272.1theres a $25 application fee, and you have to take y

lol.. and my tomos bullet has NO vin anywhere... apparently it was only ever on a sticker, and the sticker has decintegrated...

thank you! now i know what theyre talking about! i never knew them by any name BUT jesus clip... wow i never even knew they made an actual tool for that... i always did it the hard way and yes, spent many an hour looking for them after the fly away, not to mention the whole trying to flatten em back out w/ a hammer after they bent from improper removal....

i have a blue bullet... so i figured it was safely not a silver or gold, but i cant figure out why the manual etc never mentions the A3N....
