Parts their and assembled by instructions.Assemble cover and install. Release lever works and engine turns over.Second try and nothing. Does not crank again. Disassemble and repeat and turns over once the nothing.Please help.Tom

Need Help1980 Honda NC50 wind up start not work. Followed directions to install side cover with parts in place.It releases perfectly on the first pull of the starter lever.But second attempt nothing. I am now well over 30 attempts of removal and replacement. I have followed the direction.Can any help me?Tom

I am in the 20’s Trying to put the left case on.I think I am doing everything told. But the starter winding lever does not want to return after the first release.I am going bonkers with this cover. Live in the Jacksonville, FL area.I will drive to anyone who can help.

1980 NC 50 side cover install.I am now well above 25 attempts to put the left side cover on.Followed direction regarding parts placement, starter spring lining up with mark on gear. Each time it goes on fine.All parts are in place including wave washer.If I release with starter lever on top of case if will not rewind.If I add a couple of clicks with the starter lever, same problem.If I add several
