If any one can help with this I would be greatfull. I have a problem with cold starting this moped. When you first try and start it with the choke in it will run for a few seconds and then shut off. You have to go through this about 15 times then it will finally start and run with no problems. The bike can be shut down and restarted also with no problems. However if you leave it sitting for 30

Ive just bought a set of mag wheels for my 76 puch maxi 1.5 hp. When I received the wheels the rear sprocket was substantially different from the one that was on it before. The old sprocket will not fit on the new wheels. What are the most likely combinations for these types of set ups. Can i just replace the front sprocket and shorten the chain? What are the down sides of this? Any help wou

My 76 Maxi's Handlebars are in bad shape. I just bought it and am going to fully restore the ped. Realizing that function is good too I am wondering if anyone has replaced there handlebars with an aftermarket set with a gooseneck, if so what set up. Any help would be awesome.Thanks,Blackcat

Hi I just got a 1976 Puch Maxi. I removed and cleaned the carbs and put a temp gas tank and new fuel line. And on the first kick she started right up and ran like a champ. However the engine seem to be a little clanky. Sort of like the chain was making noise. I removed the screw from the side that was on the crank case where I assume there is some sort of crankcase oil. And I could not see an
