I have been riding on a polinI 43mm kit, but I seized and it broke the skirt on my cylinder. The piston is still in good shape, just needs new rings, but I was wondering if I could slap my Dr cylinder on it. I was just seeing if anybody had tried it and what the results were. I don't wanna go back to stock, and my Dr piston is trashed
I have a simonini side case I can't get to run and I think its because of how I opened up the other side of the case.I'm in search of a case to fit my 74cc pinasco.Opened up stock case, speed case anything really. If i can find a malossi speed case id rather run that.
I have the simonini case half, pinasco 75cc and a 19 clone phbg.I got it to pop but I'm sure the reason I'm not running is on the intake side. I blocked off the original carb hole (it is sealed). This is my first time messing with a phbg so you can imagine I'm struggling. Whats a good spot to start jetting wise. Idle jet? Needle placing? All that b.s. you don't have to worry ab
Cool thanks, it was a thought wasn't sure if it'd work, so I asked.
Will the kinetic cdi work with the vespa points flywheel? So, just replacing the points & firing coil with the cdi coil and cdi box. I have points flywheels, no cdi ones. Will it work?

side cover gone, engine pending
i'm betting that 12.7 carb has a lot to do with it. that's only a 7mm whole for air that you are allowing into your engine, while most of us are running a whole 13mm. that's a pretty big difference.and if your variator is untouched stock, it will have a speed governer brass bushing on it, limiting your variator not to close all the way. grind that mutha down
somewhere on the wiki a kid goes down and dirty and does just about every single mod you can do a stock vespa set-up. there are a lot of great ideas on it, i'd check it out. It made me wanna ditch my 64 dr kit and do some fun porting on a stock cylinder.
side cover and foot cover gone. still have the rear wheel, clutch, shocks and pipe
i would replace your condensor. with a bad condensor you'll have intermittent spark. it's cheap, simple and could cause a ton of problems if it is bad. it's only like $7 at any orielys or auto zone. just get a condensor for points ignition and splice it in. mine is grounded on the top of the cylinder where your plastic shroud screws on. i think i'm running one for an el camino

first check if it has good spark. if it has intermittent spark it's just your condensor.make sure fuel is getting to the carb, if not it's the fuel filter in your petcock. check your filter in the little banjo fitting on your carb and make sure your main jet isn't clogged. i can't count the number of times my bravo stopped running because of that little banjo filter in the carb
flasher unit could be out, but your violet wires are off your ignition. They are the main power to your coil. if you ground them it should kill your spark. If it runs with the tailight burnt out, someone has most likely been into the wiring before.if you don't want to hard wire it, what i'd do is re-map that wiring diagram only on the circuit your needing (the turn signal circuit). it
i have a friend that was talking about this, and i may be wrong, but im pretty sure the shaft lengths are different, so you need to have an adapter made.
i had a friend that bought an express and it had handle bars welded to the header and a little expansion chamber welded to it. It came all the way up the side, pretty cool actually, for an express.
it may be different, depending on what year, etc... your si is. Make sure theyre the right size. bravo/ grande forks won't fit on my si
take off the carb and make sure the slide is opening all the way? i've had that problem before when i shortened my cable. the slide was only opening half way.and yea get a polini variator. you should be hitting mid to high 40s at least.
Everything gone except carb, and plain frame. getting at the people now and shipping quotes. sorry i don't have internet so i have to go to the college.
Not a great looking bike, but i have most of the parts. valves in head are seized and someone bottomed out and broke the exhaust port , but piston and cylinder are in excellent shape. have everything but exhaust, throttle, air box and title. so if your needing some cheap parts for your c70 or wanna weld some stuff together and make cool trophies or something....i Need to clear this thing outta my
