Send me a PM.

honestly, the break does not look like manufacturer error. if it were, you would see only the bead of the weld break apart due to not enough penetration during the weld. I have seen flaws in these pipes before which were due to the tig weld between cones not being strong enough. However, this break looks purely like metal fatigue from bolting the pipe on too hard (ie not using the exact spacer for

If your crank is good to begin with i'd say yes.If you ever decided to put a big boy kit on her i'd suggest a new crank, the vespa brass bushings are of the worst ive ever seen.

by the way you are describing things it seems as though you do not know what you are doing. i would suggest some light reading on the subject of the workings of the two stroke engine."the pedals are a bit rough""But when I take the head of the engine off and begin pedaling , the piston and pedals begin to run smoothly. "The "pedal-ability" of your moped and the "

depends on what type of crank, if its a TOP then you need a clip between the bearing and the seal. If it is ANY other brand, and there is a large step behind the bearing that the seal fits on, then there is not supposed to be a clip.

i spend only 2 minutes maximum looking for the clip. Any longer and you officially become a crackhead. kudos to finding it.
