I’m in Illinois (not far from you actually), I also have a Sears Freespirit, am something of a dumbass, and I was able to follow that guide to successfully plate and register mine this summer. Follow the guide! There’s wisdom within!
I saw this one on FB Marketplace. I think it’s probably exactly what anyone would want. (Haha, omg)Puch Batavus HS50
I think it would be cool to do a run down of your build before you ride. “Today I’ll be riding a ____ with a _____ kit, _____ exhaust, ____ carb jetted to ____, with a top speed of_____...” You get the idea. Also grind some handrails on a ped.
I just put those 2.5’s from Treats on mine. Seems like there’s still plenty of room. The only place I could see it start to get tight would be at the innermost crotch of the swing arm.
Actually, modern Propagandhi fucking rips.
That’s the best Thermals record. Great Video!
I’ve thought about doing this by just sawing one of these suckers down the middle.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FN90CPA/

The Tornadoes. Telstar. Because, just listen to this.
The last show I got to go to before the covids was Hot Snakes with Pissed Jeans as an opener. Great send off in hindsight. So, I suggest those two if they haven’t been already.
These are the same for a Freespirit, right?

Welp, I’m old. Some dude was talking about The Locust and Cap’n Jazz. I was all excited until I looked at the date.
You know what I like? Mopeds and Against Me! Graveyards are pretty rad too. Great video guys!
Here’s a Cimatti one I found online that I touched up a bit. Resolution is decent. I’ll probably get this printed on a small canvas.
My kick ass wife got me this cool Cimatti tshirt!
Aw yeah! Thanks for bumping this. I forgot about it. Actually got something together and submitted!
Oh hey! You’re actually the guy from Captured! By Robots. That’s awesome! I always just assume when I see a handle like xpoisonthewellx that it’s some random schmo. Man, I remember going to shows at the Fireside Bowl and such in Chicago and seeing flyers for your band. Always wanted to see you play. Crazy. So many fascinating people in this community. So glad I masked up, scooped a non runner from
Man, that’s awesome. I was rocking a Toy Machine tshirt just the other day.

Haha! I got myself in the same situation. Snagged an aluminum one on eBay for a good price. It’s a three holer, won’t fit on my four hole fan base. I guess I’ll be casually searching for the other fan base.
Yup. I third that notion. Tighten up the clutch cable. I just went through this on my Cimatti Town Bike.
Side question since I’m at a similar step in V1 restoration as this fellow, does his woodruff key look sheared? How far do they usually need to stick out? I have a new one for my Twin Sport coming from Treats.
I just picked up a 78’ Cimatti Twin Sport with a MinarellI V1. Working on fixing a weak spark, I just replaced the condenser with an external one. I totally just popped the solder joint out like described above. It seemed sketchy at the time but I figured the wiring is simple enough and I’ve already got a new one ready to install. The black ring on the stock condenser is a soft rubber. Just dig so
