It runs a lot better than the stock pipe. What issues have you found with it? I plan on switch up to promo in the future.
Much better than stock exhaust
Replaced the belt, adjusted the timing, took off inline filter, cleaned petcock and gas tank, vented the gas cap as it wasn’t venting properly. It ran like a champ for a solid week, ran out of gas and when I filled it back up it wouldn’t start. Has spark, fuel, and compression. Turns over and runs very weakly if i pedal like a madman but dies immediately. After some research I’m almost certain it’
Do you take trades or ship?
Sometimes it seems like i have to push decomp to start it other times I don’t even touch it and it’ll start.
So that might help with helping it run but what about starting? I’ve thrown up twice on the side of the road trying to start it.
He says there’s two filters for the fuel to go through. I haven’t looked in the tank yet but yes I’m using the decomp. I don’t know what the choke is tho. Great username btw

Yeah I thought it was a bit high but all mopeds of this caliber are around the same price in my area. And to order a cheaper one and have it shipped would’ve cost even more.
So did I just pick the shittiest first moped or something? 1978 Honda Hobbit. Paid 1000 for it and has full write ups of the work put into it last month so I thought it’d be a safe bet. Yet it is a bitch and a half to start, cuts off if I stop to quick, and fuel doesn’t travel through the line properly. Air builds up in the line and the previous owner said I have to “loosen the gas cap to let air
