Brent, that taillight looks sweet. I had a green LED exhaust for my car years ago and durin the winter time when the car would warm up, it would put out a sick "green smoke" at night. The build is lookin good so far.

A good question, how many miles can a stock moped get to begin with?
The One And Only — 2 years ago
While browsin around lookin for info on my Honda Express, I recall seeing a weight limit operator only of about 180 lbs. Hate to admit, I weigh a tad bit more than 180 lol. Aside from pushing the motor harder for top speed, but will the excess weight have any structural effect on the frame itself? Would I need to reinforce the frame\forks?

Yeah propane has minimal power, but runs forever if tuned properly, and with less emissions if I remember properly.

No love for propane engines?Go back a century and convert to steam. Plenty of water layin around to use, except the irradiated kind. Prolly wouldnt be cool blowin radiated steam all over the place.

Sir Chris, thats not bosu enough. You need to go down to the parts store and drop a few hundred on some of those extremely bright LED light bars. That should be enough to get folks attention... plus see deer coming from a mile away lol

Sir Chris, you lucky dog for visiting Japan and gettin a taste of the culture. Dream vacation for me... without the wife and kid obviously. Wish I could join in on the fun, but I will leave that to the experts. If a trike moped exists, I'd love to see a camber job done on the back tires. That would be hilarious.

Thanks for all your help (and everybody thats posted). I will try to get some time in soon to try and pull the motor and find out the damage. I am almost certain the transmission is locked up and I have little faith the engine will be salvagable so that may be on my buy list as well lol.I will keep my eyes out in the Buy/Sell section, I would rather help out other members here first before hittin

Les, I feel like you are in better shape with that project than I am lolSo many questions just pickin apart this darn thing. Not lookin too good as I have no clue how I am goin to fix or replace this piece.
The One And Only — 2 years ago
Would $80 count as overpaid? LolNot like I have anything better to do for a hobby and I would live to learn something from this. Plus I would be the only guy in town with one of these if I get it runnin. XD

Hey yall, just bought an (overpriced) 78 Honda NC50 from the local antique store here in TN. Never knew these old relics existed till I saw this and fell in love with it. Of course I bought it thinking it wouldnt be a big deal to fix the motor up and replace the tires only I find out it needs just about everything. New handles, cables, wiring, and prolly the motor too. So while I am in the process
