Clearing out storage and want to pass these on to someone who is either looking for a restoration project or a electric conversion project. The 1980 Garelli SuperSport has a title and is in rough shape. The motor was seized and I planned on rebuilding it but I lost interest since I also own a Onyx RCR.As for the blue 1978 Garelli GranSport I wanted to do a electric conversion since it was missing p

For sale is a original, low mileage 1978 Puch Magnum MKII with 74 miles on the speedometer that runs and drives.I purchased this back in April of last year from a fellow in Massachusetts that recovered it from a basement in a church with another Magnum.Apparently it was used back in the 80’s to teach kids how to ride at a local church and was left to collect dust until 2020 when it was discovered

Do you plan on making any Puch Magnum pins in the future?

Massachusetts is also a good place to buy mopeds. I brought my first moped, a 1978 Garelli Super Sport there for $500.Some models are more than others as my 1978 Puch Magnum MKII with 64 original miles cost me $1500.

I have a few pairs but I’m in NYC, where are you located?

It loops, so it may be the reason why it is not registering speed.

I brought a new cable but it seems to be a little longer than the original one that is now unusable. The longer cable looks to be for the non rubber dashboard setup so it is useless to me.In the meantime I ordered a 60mm cable today and hope it fixes the issue. Not sure if the one purchased is the same length as the original.

It does not register movement although it spins freely, which is weird.I brought a plastic one from treatland and it does not sit properly on the snowflake rim.

Looking to buy a 17 inch Garelli front rim in the tri-state area (preferably).

Do you have a 17 inch Garelli Spoke rim? If so I want to buy it!
Joey Robinson — 2 years ago
Do it. I’ve driven 6h 58 minutes (3h 28 minutes each direction) for my Garelli SSXL and 4h 40 minutes (2h 20 minutes each direction) for my parts Garelli Gran Sport. The journey is more important than the destination IMO.

Could you post a picture of the outcome? I think the chrome plating is long gone on this rim and it will have to be resprayed.
