Preferably in LA or closer in San Diego. Looking for something still original no mods.
anything goes! I recently pickup up a 102 sup which engine case took on water. Crank was toast, bearings and piston wrist pin, cylinder is still good, but why not go all the way?? I need to know what crank to use, and the best kit that’s slips on without modifying the cases, and what carb. Thanks!
Obviously these are mostly restored, tomos is like 200 miles (replaced speedo). These things have been GONE THROUGH, I pretty much touched everything so no work is needed on either (maybe tires for the max but they’re fine). Asking 1000 each. Questions welcome. If the question is “has it been replaced?” The answer is yes. Located in saaaaan diego CA
By the way is that a DT tank? I had a DT 360 in high school as well. (Failed project as my juvenile brain at the time couldn’t handle points)
To all the trolls. Do you feel better now? It was a 15 year old lol. Yes not a moped, I said mopeds for life hence the previous statement calling it a pile.Wild, Yes I did weld the motor mounts as the frame snapped in half with all the vibration. They were 10mm axles and cruiser wheels, I removed the shoes and replaced the bearings with heavy duty ones. I wanted to use the workman cycle wheels but
Every part was purchased separately. I swear to god this thing went 50+ with the idle mixture screw turned all the way out. Never seized. Whether you believe it or not. Notice the wanky ass charging system and pull starter. Wheel generator->lantern battery->headlight. This was in TX. Only got pulled over once for going around a car at a stop sign. (You can’t stop with these engines). Cop sai
Dang. Idk how I missed that. I been watching everyday for a week! People want $1000 for a pile around here.
what do you have? Don't want to pay more than 500. 300 range is great.
