Hobbit 70 kit with vm20 carb and points ignition with cranks pipe. Idle jet is 17.5, main jet is 160 now. Tried 180 as well. Can't get it to idle or run worth a shit. Choked or not. Suggestions?

Original 15mm bing comes with a 82 main jet, you will need smaller jets even if running a kit. I run around a 77 78 with mine on a kit

Last owner told me tank is rusty so he put 2 filters on it i guess. I put m5 bolt in intake hole drained some rust outta his quality fuel line setup and bump started it and was running in ten ft. Ran pretty shitty and need to do something with seat and sits really low but for 150 bucks shit man

So the cable, throttle end shortend and hooked up on bike. Sure it opens slide 15mm or so at WOT but it only takes 1/4 turn of throttle to do it. It snaps back proper and nothing sticking or preventing wot in cable. Bike is 77 maxi carb is new 15 bing

How far should slide move on new 15mm bing. I can only slide mine with cable half inch or so and same with cable out. Just seems like not enough but only thing limiting it is the spring

Testing on bench. Slide works fine until secure top down with spring then its like 1/4 throttle maybe half. Nothing in wrong i just dont know bout slide washer under spring it just sits there?

New not clone bing 15mm carb. Seems like the slide is only going up half way when pulling cable not hitting WOT. I know choke isnt stopping it. Whats the little washer thing under spring do?

Chopped old mounts off frame and made custom engine plate. Rear brake works good, cable isnt there in pics. Flipped rear wheel so drive sprocket is on other side, re mounted and welded brake plate and cable guide to other side. Twice the Jawa it was before and reliable as hell
