Changing Timing on Stock CDI - Honda PA50 Hobbit

I was surprised that I couldn't find any thread with the answer to this question so starting up a new one... Someone dick slap me with a link if I am missing it.

I am looking to retard the timing to cool down my kitted hobbit but use the stock CDI if possible. I do realize I won't have a curve. I removed the woodruff key and moved the plate and no matter where I put it, the timing stays the same.

Build:

82 PA50 II Stock CDI

DR Kit

Proma Pipe

Cranks Intake

Vm18 90 Main / 17.5 Idle

TJT - 15 grams weight

Puchonda Treats Head

B9HS (trying to cool it down, isnt helping)

BX40 Belt

Stock Pulley spring/gears (edited)
