it’s gonna be above 45f this up coming week and i’ll be testing this transmission cooler and throwing all the data up as i accrue it.
they’ll be available to the public soon.
if you’d like to be part of the data accrual team, dm me.
Bitchin!
ohh yea, it clears pedals with a magnum or za50 pedal shaft too.
you can also use this cooler to overfill your transmission to between 300ml and 400ml at your own discretion.
you’ll need an overflow bottle and you’ll need to tap and plug the stock transmission vent on the back right of the e50 cases. an m4 tap runs through the hole so smoothly. once the hole is tapped, gently tighten panhead philips screw and smear some rtv over it and enjoy BIG FLUID LEVELS.
THIS MUCH FLUID.
Holy FUCK that is so rad. Great work, awesome video.
Turbo Ginsu / Super Shredder cover so sick!

i can confidently say you most certainly probably will.
so far it kept a shitty $33 3-shoe clutch much cooler on a stock e50 slipping til 23mph.
i built a 44mm airsal/15 bing/techno bullet e50 setup basically just for testing this that i just got done heatcycling and can start to test with this upcoming week
i’ll let you know. i’m gonna test it asap with a puch jammer with white malossi springs on it.
and once that’s done, i’ll test it with a braced 2 shoe with the original claw shoes on it. and once a that’s done i’ll test it with a braced 2 shoe with the kevlar claw shoes. and once that’s done, i’ll test it with a braced 3 shoe with the original claw shoes. and then again but with the kevlar shoes.
Thank you for all of this!
SWEET!
Wow, this thing came out awesome.
I'm really curious to see how these work on crazy ripper setups, scooter kits and whatever next level stuff.
Also opens up the possibility for actually making the clutch itself bigger.

Never thought about that but that's an interesting point...
who knows maybe i’ll start making tomar clutches now
I've got something drawn up that I think would work, need some help from a skilled machinist if you know anyone 😉
seems like a good place to tap it even bigger and route an external pump through a cooler if you needed extra cooling. Good work.

you could tap the bottom hole to m8 or maybe even m10 and then plumb it back through the fill hole on the heatsink cover, but i don’t think you’ll need to
:)
Hows pedal clearance?
great with magnum/za pedal shaft. peep the picture above.
couldn't make a hole for the starting lever and keep pedals and starting mech? (edited)

not couldn’t, but wouldn’t.
this a performance product, not for babies with pedals. the e50 stater cover keeps fluid away from the clutch so much that it would really hinder performance.
you can drill into one if you want, but you’ll lose the transmission vent. (edited)
I'm going to make a clutch cover, for babies only

🤣🤣🔥
Real manly men start their 'mopeds' like a doofus lawnmower. Pedals are for silly little baby girls and wannabe lance Armstrong dads with spandex muffin top, duhhhhhh.
this ain’t about gender, this is about performance.
also for any one who wants to test this, I've got the trailtech temp gauge and temp sensor leads that you'll need and can offer them a discount!
Real shame about the pedal start delete, but yay for doing new things.

E50 trans is already vented at the back top
So sick
The pushback (or dare I say PUCHback) about no starter clutch is hysterical

so alright, if you’ve ever overfilled an e50 transmission you’d know that moving gear will create a wake in the fluid and it will spill out that rear vent. or you might just think you got a transmission fluid leak and say whatever, but if you tracked it down, you’d see leaking coming from the kickstand/kickstand mount. i know not everyone keeps squeaky clean engines and looks for the source of leaks, but if you leak on the track (and again, this is a performance part designed with racing in mind) you’d get pulled off the track ASAP for putting racers at risk. especially if i was there :)
now, if you plug that vent, you can use the threaded hole and the barb i’ve included to run to an overflow bottle of your choosing (that has to be vented too)
if you run less then like 250ml, you may not even need an overflow bottle, just a line that runs up to your frame (that’s still vented) should do.
at 300ml, i just barely had fluid climbing up my tube towards my vented overflow bottle
also, you don’t get to use your kickstand with this anymore unless you want to cobble a kickstand spring mount into this somehow.
again, designed for racing, not for babies (edited)
