The valve is on the gauge end. In my head it wouldn’t take much swelling in the hose to reduce pressure over that small of a volume. I could be wrong, either way it’s reading way higher now and more in line with what I would expect.
I guess next I should shuffle through my fittings and find something that will let me hook up to an air compressor and try to get some sort of rough calibration on it.
I never would have pulled it out except for this thread. The 180 was with no head gasket, I put the thick fiber gasket the kit came with on and it dropped it to 150.
