Tomos clutch question

Bushing is slipping out of the clutch Bell? Any ideas why it's not staying in place??

Re: Tomos clutch question

Because its smaller. If its not too wiggley excessive slop, then run it or you can buy a new one.

The shaking chattering on tomos is sometimes that first gear flat spring not having enough tension from keeping shoes from chattering.

Is the flat spring you’re talking about the sprag spring?

No, there's 3 springs that go underneath the clutch spring

Re: Tomos clutch question

Theres those leaf springs under the donut spring that interlock n then theres a star shaped one that pushes on the shoes laterally.

I wasn't talking about a spring. I was talking about the gold colored brass bushing inside 2nd gear of the clutch bell. But you guys are talking about the leaf springs around the clutch segments! Gotcha. No I'm pretty familiar with the complete clutch system of the a35/a55. Just got aggravated with a Brand New clutch bell bushing sliding loose. Now it's just sitting inside the bell loose. So I just put a spare complete clutch in bike. (edited)
