Puch pipes on Minarelli v1

Eric Whatley /

Anyone fit a puch techno circuit on a v1? I just got this Cimatti, has a fresh 80cc Polini with sha16. I got a line on the pipe for 50 smackers new in bag. Previous owner gave up on it cause starter clutch is stuck engaged when you put the cover on but not stuck with the cover off. Working out that first thing any advice for it also would be great.

Woah, someone actually bought that thing! He’s been trying to sell it for like 6 months now. So I had the same bike like 9 years ago and I put a puch proma on it, pulled pretty well and topped out at like 37mph

Yeah, I have been stalking this bike for 6 months or so. Got it for 200. Easily 4 to $500 in new parts on it as it sits. It has a clutch issue, starter clutch engages when clutch cover is installed.

It could be the wrong starter plate or he's got it adjusted too far (or the bearing has siezed)

Circuit pipes are prob the best for V1 bikes, you'll just need to fab a spot to bolt the stinger to the frame
