I need torque Puch E50

I'm looking for a new cylinder with alot of torque, without modifying the crankcase. Any recommendations?

All kits need case modifications! Polini’s have great torque but I don’t think you’re there yet.

OG MK65 or 72cc airsal, 15-19mm carb, low-mid pipe (think estoril or circuit), stay close to 16x45 gearing.

Edit: I do recommend at least beveling the transfers, but you could get away with just “slapping it on” (not recommended). (edited)

I’m breaking in my 72cc Airsal right now.

By modification, do you mean other than matching? Cause that’s all it needed.

I have a stock clutch and 18x43 gearing.

Even babying it for break-in it pulls my 200lbs quick up to 30mph with little throttle. Blasts when I open it a little more.

17.5mm PHBG. Estoril.

I’d say it’s got torque for minimum effort.

Yes...estoril > technigas alllllllllll day. It is almost non comparable

I’ve run the technigas on the same cylinder with a 15sha, not bad at all, but 19mm and estoril had way more torque.

I went with the 17.5 because I wanted higher velocity. Maybe I’m wrong about this, but I feel like it’s easier to tune and get better fuel economy.

Higher velocity means lower pressure. Lower pressure helps fuel vaporize.

If you want to build a max rpm machine, you need a big carb. If you want torque, go with a moderate size.

All that said, 1.5mm isn’t that much different. There’s more information on the tuning spreadsheet for the 19. If you don’t have a specific reason to go with the smaller one, like I did, then 19 is perfectly good.

if you want torque, get a proma cc pipe or a leovince, those 2 are great torque pipe's.

reed valve cylinders like polini/athena AJH are also very good for torque!

Ive found to get better top speed and low end from a circuit pipe with a treat reed. The estoril i have is the “restricted” version though. Im talkin like 3mph faster. The estoril does feel more balanced.

The estoril is a much better pipe for bottom end and midrange but the restricted version does die early

The best torque is going to be a polini with a proma circuit. 14/15 Bing. You should do a full rebuild, new crank and case match but you can just slap it on too.
