Why has no one tried using the stock pa50 reed block as a plate adapter!? (edited)

You have any issues with the pull start? Like if I got a head with no decomp, think it would be a nightmare to pull start it?

It depends on how much compression? I installed a pull start because the starter clutch stop working and I was like fuck it Il make a pull start. I’m running a stock kit and no decomp

Black pipe has as an article on a cheap diy pull start for Honda pa.

I used a cheetachrome paw then made a space so it would fit snug on the crank. it was easy, probably took me like 20min.

Finalized!

Haven’t test it yet because its been rainy here for like 3 days.

Carb is on a kinda extreme angle, doesn’t leak or anything but might want a different intake

Re: 4 petal Malossi on pa50 ( way to easy!?)

Is your intake going to hit the frame when the shock compresses? Try to sit/bounce on it and see what it looks like?

It did! But I change the intake, I’ll post a photo tonight! It’s looks way better now

The carb was on an extreme as angle too

no, that's how they work. Using a decomp while pull starting would be real dumb.

No true, some chainsaw offer decomp during starting because of the crazy compression

We're not talking about chainsaws

But we are lol

Re: 4 petal Malossi on pa50 ( way to easy!?)

Dirty30 Dillon /

Mopeds =/= Chainsaws.

The physical weight, short stroke, and high compression of chain saws are the reason why you need a decomp. And even then, typically only to cold start.

I have never had an issue pull starting ANY moped.

Re: 4 petal Malossi on pa50 ( way to easy!?)

anyway, this clever, surprised no one has though of using the stock black as an adapter. does it seal well?

Re: 4 petal Malossi on pa50 ( way to easy!?)

Incelforlifebaby!hotandhorny69 646260 /

I would imagine it would seal fine expect for the fact you drill the o-ring seal. So you’ll need to flatten it.

I just end up making one from a 1/4” aluminum plate. It’s works great but I didn’t see a performance gain on my stock cylinder lol Makes carb tuning easy and carb selection.

I would rip with a kit lol

Re: 4 petal Malossi on pa50 ( way to easy!?)

all this for a baby clone sha!

Haha for now on a stock kit yes.

Easy to upgrade to a Big boy phbg with just the turn of a hose clamp! And tunning is just as simple

4 petal carbon Reeds! Big intake! Perfect for when I upgrade to a kit.

It took me maybe 3 hours top and I already had all the parts sitting on the self :)
