I have a puch e50, I just put a boss pipe on it and have a high flow air filter. It’s a 1Hp model. Iv tried running a few different jests with a 12mm bing carb and a 2.22 atomizer. With the largest jet I have a 79 the plug is only a little wet. The top speed I am getting is 24 mph. The bike runs good other then this top speed I’m open to suggestions of why it is running so slow.

1HP is a terrible platform to work with. Get a 2HP cylinder for pennies on the Buy/Sell forum.
Use the one HP cylinder and head for that matter for a boat anchor on your johnboat,

Might be good as a drift anchor , but , not heavy enough to hold anything steady . LOL
