Just wondering what’s out there for aftermarket pipes for pyramid reed engines, specifically that can mount on an RD50 without chopping and welding. I’ve seen the MLM on treats, were there pipes manufactured overseas specifically for the derbi PR? Are there similar enduro/Mx style pipes that fit on an rd50 without being hacked to fit? I’m relatively new to welding and don’t trust myself enough yet to cut and heavily modify a pipe to fit.
Man i wish there was some secret upswept pipe with a bigger header that bolted right up to RD50/C5, but i feel like we’d know about it by now. if ya don’t care about looks, ive seen pug dopplers go on pretty easy..that said I plan on buying 2 puch promas w/ that stimulus money and getting more comfy hack n welding. maybe if the first one goes well I can make another and sell it to ya?
