Puch maxi 1981 E50 engine

What’s the most brutal tuning parts for a puch maxi? Cylinder, carburator, exhaust etc.

No budget.

Probably Fred /

Call and ask these people

https://www.puchshop.de/ They are more local then us in the states,

It’s not just the parts, it’s how you tune your bike they could help with that too,

Be one jet size off, A bit off in timing/tuning and your bike could run slower than stock

Try jmpb also. Have a look through the Wiki and especially the tuning spreadsheet to get an idea of what parts reach what speeds. But like Ken said, tuning them properly makes a bunch of slung together parts in to a fast and great running moped.

It seems like I'm going to buy the italkit cylinder and head.

Would the 21mm PHBG be a good fit?

Any recommend exhaust?

Re: Puch maxi 1981 E50 engine

If you want to rip talk with crank pipes about a custom one with a specific tune in mind

thats the same setup iam running on my e50 gila, it rips and chugs gas like a mofo. save your self time and frustration and get an intake, the one that comes in the kit sucks.
