I have done 3 with a Polini Portmap and the gain have been awsome. I am sure there are threads on it out here somewhere.
Don't do gila when you could go 360 intake via piston work or cutting extra boost up to the top and feeding into the cases.
Massive gains and then just widen ex and raise a touch and let the pipe determine rpm range.
My treats reed kit I ported for grunt was such a beast. Felt like it was variated.
The gila is power ported, meaning it has piston port characteristics while also being reed inducted. It has almost no blow back because of this and a really nice mid range out of the box. Porting it for “360*” isn’t the way to go for every set up. I ported the intake on my v1 gila and it ruined the bottom end of the rev range, it wasn’t worth the few rpms I was able to ring out in the top as now it has to slip the clutch to 8k to make the same power. I have since moved onto the puch euro kit with reeds and holy fuck it is fast, there isn’t a moped kit that is more worth the money except for the 47mm derbi airsal.
I know that about Gilas.
If you don't go overboard with your ex timing it won't be an issue.
But do what ya like
tbh i think the 47mm eurokit works better with piston port and roundslide carb
but yeah that on a v1 is insane, I can outpull a derbi up a hill

Ya if you have a pipe on your general lol! But for real pro without it too!
I've got the K-star and also the airsal. Used the heck out it driving and did great. when at limit just dies . . . no slow down, just dead. I've got 2 mopeds so no problem. Used for 1st time and it felt stronger than cripple studs between rafters in some real old wood. No problem.
Got my kit for $65 !! ;)
The weird thing about these treats kits?, I had one that I didn't case match and used no gasket set on and it blasted, lasted me almost a year before it snagged a ring. They have some weird witchcraft going on with them.
Yeah the treats kits are pretty forgiving I also port them like a polini with some good gains. Even left alone with the right carb and pipe it should do 50-53 with the right sprockets
