its probably not worth it
the main benefits are for performance applications, really the only actual benefit is a retarding timing curve which you need for very high performance builds.
all my stock and even most of my 'milder' performance builds run stock points. when CDI poops the sheets, you are done for. Points can fail but if you keep them clean and gap them every 2-3000 miles they are pretty damn reliable.
some bikes just have notoriously bad igniton systems but hondas are among the best.
