I bought this dope NOS Cobra pipe from Italy for my mild SP build right... Well Its awfull restrictive about as restrictive as a stock, de-restricted pipe. Anyone have any experience or knowledge with these pipes and how they were restricted? I don't really want to soil the NOS goodness but I know It has more to offer. (edited)

Re: Cobra Sito 2 Restrictions

If you dont see the restriction coin in the header pipe then it is likely choked down in the silencer section.

All I have to do is figure out how to remove that baffle cap then...

Re: Cobra Sito 2 Restrictions

Why not simply cut the weld at the front of the can ?

As mentioned, I'd rather not soil this NOS pipe. Also, I don't currently have any gas and do not trust thick flux wire to not just blow holes in it.

Typically, those baffles are riveted, and than pressed into the welded on outer part. I had to use a slide hammer to remove my Alsil baffle

Mine has an Allen screw and a nut, after removing that it still seems quite tight. May be pressed in...

Slide hammer, or clamp some needle nose vice grips on there and whack away

Re: Cobra Sito 2 Restrictions

Then cope with the reduced speed until you have shield gas
