Jamarcol chamber on a V1

A friend of mine gave me a jamarcol chamber he had lying around to try and motivate me to actually finish my blanco that i've been very slowly working on.

I intend to put a polini kit on it with this chamber and probably a PHBG 19 with matching intake manifold.

All I've got is the chamber so it will need a header welded to it. I know that the polini kit has a 21mm exhaust port so I'll obviously make sure the exhaust flange has the same ID, but how long should the header actually be?

According to the "puch exhausts" page in the wiki, the rev-range is "pretty high" whatever that means and the powerband comes in late. The wiki also states this pipe is for 50-70cc bikes. Will it even perform well with this kit since it's over 70cc ?

Anyone ever used one of these pipes on a polini kitted V1? what was your experience?

General rule for the effective length of the exhause

Short exhause assembly = comes on at higher rev

Longer exhause assembly = comes on at lower rev

Need to tune the length to the duration of the exhause event.

Supposedly a tomos a35 estoril is a killer pipe when paired with a V1 polini. I would go with that. Gotta bend it though, or cut and weld

Good to know. I don't have one handy unfortunately.

I've also got an AMF Roadmaster project that I may go that route with though. Gotta fix and sell some stuff first.

unfortunately since the V1's came on a bunch of different frames, the mounting can be super easy or super hard. a puch estoril will bolt on to most v1's. i like the tomos better since it has a bigger header but it needs to be cut and welded.

with the jammy, its gonna suck no matter what so just stick it on wherever to the stock header, unless you got a pancake pipe... just argh give up, jammy sucks. a puch tecno bullet is a better low cost option, once again, almost bolts up to most v1's

Yea unfortunately all the stock pipes I have for V1 are that pancake style or I would've already had the chamber welded to a stock header. I figured the jammy wasn't great since i was getting it for free but hey it's free so i figure I'll make it work on something.
