So here' the deal, I've got a polini racing kit 46mm for a grande and a malossi too bad pipe.
Will the opposing brands hinder the performance of the machine? Will the timing of exhaust sound waves be off?
Thanks,
Cheers,
oscar

Stock cases?
yes stock case, modified 13mm intake
its fine, when it whines out it kinda sounds like PaaLoooosssiii
You cant fit a 46mm kit in stock cases unless they are bored. With the polini, you may have to add case material as well. Have you done that?
But you can totally run that kit and pipe together. However over that pipe, i would recommend instead of the too bad either a simonini calibratta or a polini top one
I've fit the case in there already it even fit snug unmodified.
All I did was file out some wider ports and create new boost ports.
If you didnt bore the case, you likely have a 43mm kit

Pics with bore measurements or it didn't happen.

No disappointment at all. I'm running that same kit btw with a top pipe and I love it!
That polini with the aux exhaust ports is so fast.
