Just ported my E50 and I got awful close to the casing bolt holes. Is this TOO close? Been looking at the photos for an hour now and am getting quite anxious. Anything I can do to ease my troubled mind or am I in the clear? The hole on the bottom of the casing looks like it cut into the hole but it didn’t.
Use a sealant on the non-threaded shaft of the case bolts and do a leak-down test to check its pressure tight.
You will be good. Gasket sealer on that bolt for insurance.

Sweet, thanks! Put it back together and all went well (as far as I can tell). New problems of course now that it’s running but I’m gonna search around before I ask about that.
