My goal is to eliminate this shitty jolt that happens when the power hits from a dead stop. AND try to reduce the chance of twisting off this sprocket shaft that's made of butter.
The feel is like a BANG, and it's caused by slack in the chain. I don't like to run chains too tightly with normal screw adj static tension because it fucks everything up if it goes too tight upon the suspension flexing.
So in this situation I'll have a nice snug chain at takeoff which won't bang the tranny around. Just gotta get the spring tension right.
I can see the adjuster working when I crank the throttle too.
Overall it seems to make the drivetrain much smoother. (edited)
