I just got a new phbg carburetor and I can't figure out how to use or connect the choke. Can someone make a video or share pics of what to connect it to. The dellortos are easy but I have no clue about bpbg s
Bhbg Carburetor Choke
Re: Bhbg Carburetor Choke
Bhpg?
If you mean PHBG It doesn’t have a choke, it has a fuel enrichment starter circuit with a 60 jet usually and you either pull it up with the pull style and you twist to keep it on or it’s cable actuated one
Re: Bhbg Carburetor Choke
Which PHBG do you have? Cable choke or Pull Choke?
Ken's harping on semantics, both the enrichenment starter circuit and a door-style choke are chokes.
No one on earth has ever said: "You have to activate your enrichenment starter circuit during cold weather starts."

That's because everyone is too lazy to call an apple an apple .
Even though they accomplish basically the same end , they are different .

Semantics, really. The OP isn't asking how it works, he is simply asking how to assembly it to function.

Screw it in first, then like I said pull up and turn it if it’s a hand pull one or screw in a cable actuated one and pull up on the cable after it’s connected to a lever on your handlebars

True . But , I'm sure he'll be ahead of the game if he knows exactly what he's working with .
But , maybe he's not interested in the what or why , so he can take it or leave it . ;) (edited)

That’s a cable actuated choke which is really a valve where cable end nub goes into
You want this one (which is a valve also)

Unless you feel like hooking the cable and another lever up to your handlebars and then have to pull starter clutch lever and choke lever and possibly the throttle all at the same time while kicking
Re: Bhbg Carburetor Choke
Or buy a choke cable kit that comes with a little locking lever that you can mount anywhere.
