As you can see the frame brace needed to go so I got a nice chunk of flat stock and replaced it a little further back.

while I was checking that out decided to fix the cracked engine mount that typically happened to variants (don’t forget to drill a small hole at the end of the crack).

should be better now but we shall see once I take it out.
