Home Depot probably sells more power washers, weed whackers, chainsaws, generators etc. this weekend than all of those cars and bikes left on the road today. And this is about the "small engine" warnings.
@ Mr Moped- And I've got a '68 18hp Rude and a '75 25hp Johnson that run fine on blended. Maybe don't buy a Merc :D I will say the ethanol is definitely no good for fuel lines and primer bulbs. Seems to harden them up in a couple seasons. They'd do a lot better if we made sure to get gas at the marina at the end of the season and put stabilizer in it. I know for the most part the damage we do is just because we're being lazy. We never remember this stuff until the leaves start falling and then it's rushing to get it stored before the snow comes.
