New Toro Racing Division Puch cylinder 3rd eye transfers.

I started following this company a while back since they post some cool cylinders that they design in house. They just posted the molds a few days ago that looked similar to Puch and they confirmed they are indeed Puch cylinders. Given that they are investment molds I assume they are looking to produce a decent number of these. Not sure if they are case inducted only or not though. Gotta get treats to hit them up and get some in stock.

Check them out on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/ToroRacingDivision/

Yea I dont know if it does or not. I mean they haven't machined the cylinder yet?

By the looks of the castings pictured , it would seem they are case reed only . I see no other provision .

Re: New Toro Racing Division Puch cylinder 3rd eye transfers.

There is no provision for an intake on the cylinder to machine, so it's case inducted only.

Re: New Toro Racing Division Puch cylinder 3rd eye transfers.

Case inducted with huge transfers means you got to do a lot of work on your cases.

I really only run za50s anymore so even harder to do on a za50 then e50,

Have them make some bolt on and go cylinders that just need case matching and make more power than a 64cc polini kit or copy a 64cc Polini design into larger 70-74cc displacement

Transfers look cool. 50cc? Definitely pics after casting withbout clean up.

hey guys nice to see that you follow us on facebook!!!

googlde our name and your site came on super cool!!!

Give us a linky to your site, I'd love to keep up, I'll probably case induct an e50 next winter, why not?

do you mean membrane seat like cylinder induction or GME style? Polini style ones could be cool lots of options for reeds and intakes.

Re: New Toro Racing Division Puch cylinder 3rd eye transfers.

Yes like the polini the 50cc model will have a smoler intake as the 70cc model

Re: New Toro Racing Division Puch cylinder 3rd eye transfers.

Yes case induct is a super whe made 16bhp whit a simple dmp 50cc cilinder whit a case induct ..lots of porting t.r.d exoust

Re: New Toro Racing Division Puch cylinder 3rd eye transfers.

i think by 'membrane seat' he means the reed valve... french, german translations of 'reed' is membrane.

very cool! cant wait to see these for sale.

Yeah I'm just trying to figure out if they are going to make non-case inducted after the prototype. GME is how they refer to case induction.

Re: New Toro Racing Division Puch cylinder 3rd eye transfers.

Yes it wil be made non case induct

Re: New Toro Racing Division Puch cylinder 3rd eye transfers.

yeah if anyone could make something along the lines of the athena AJH but with a proper gila-sized reed, good split transfers and an exhaust with boosts.... it would be a game changer.

Re: New Toro Racing Division Puch cylinder 3rd eye transfers.

If you guys tell me what u want i will make it i love imput from the customers

First look then talk

Re: New Toro Racing Division Puch cylinder 3rd eye transfers.

Ik ben benieuwt! het is altijd mooi als er weer nieuwe producten voor de puch worden gemaakt.

Re: New Toro Racing Division Puch cylinder 3rd eye transfers.

Help me here does "non case inducted " = reeds ?

Does case inducted = piston port ?

Re: New Toro Racing Division Puch cylinder 3rd eye transfers.

I think the best intake pattern or design would be this one from polini

This gives people many options on produced intakes for many applications allowing it to be easier to fit to various bikes. Remember this cylinder will also bolt up to tomos too. This intake design would allow people to run a single pedal reed

4 pedal reeds

or running bigger (dio) kx65 vforce reeds

Re: New Toro Racing Division Puch cylinder 3rd eye transfers.

is there a reason these couldn't be bored out further?

Re: New Toro Racing Division Puch cylinder 3rd eye transfers.

From their Facebook it looks like there will be 38mm and 45mm versions, and the cylinder inducted versions will use a vl14? Reed block, like from a Yamaha aerox / mbk nitro/ piaggio nrg. Not sure if those are minarelli horizontal or what the common motor between those is, but it looks like there will be some options for reed blocks...

You should fix the Polini curse... i swear hot spotting comes from the location of the piston pin. Currently it runs directly through the intake port which cause a bulge of the ring and friction when it leaves the open port. Relocate that pin, and increase CC's and you would have a killer kit.
