Microwave still works like a champ. I used it to heat up some french toast and it works. When ur cooking the bearing, don’t worry about it. Wrap it in a wet towel on the plate for 1:30. When it’s steaming, it’s 212*, it won’t get that hot.

A bunch of these bearings were done like that.

Setting up,. Drilled it bigger to 3/8” then hammered in a smaller spacer. I’d like an 8mm bolt to thread into the crank end.

EyE sharpened the bits using my Safety Squints, drill, and a flap wheel on the right angle grinder.

Dull bit, its blade is crumbled.

Run them against each other to even the tip. holding steady

Sand off the lump of steel behind the blade. In red

The red part keeps the blade from engaging. Remove that part easy.

Drilled into the end of the crank 20mm deep so fast! The bit was in there munching, big chips were popping!

Yea! For the ignition, a 1/2” steel stick wrapped in a circle and ends welded. 4 spacers will be welded to the band then trimmed off to make the whole thing into a spacer. The bolts go thru it all to make an even surface to mount the stator. Fuck it almost rhymed..

The carb might fit thru the frame with it in this pOzishh. Thad be cool, the only screws i could find that fit the intake to the engine are these tiny coil screws. Teeny tiiny threaads. Thinking about upping it to M6.

Hmm , A double down tube , oval shaped , with that carb sticking through would be interesting . A conversation piece , so to speak .

Re: Fuckin around in the shed

I'm curious to see how this will perform. I'm guessing "torque out the ass" but not very high rpm.

Re: Fuckin around in the shed

I'm hoping the carb fits through the Grande frame and gets Ram air induction

Re: Fuckin around in the shed

I know it's getting a little late but I'd love to see this reverted to stock

Added a few spacers to fill out the total width. Tapped the intake case threads. This subframe is bent up on both sides, I have a few more to swap it out with.

These snow blowers are about $40-60 at craigslist. The dude I got this from was kinda pissed that I took the engine and shit canned the rest. Hahaa! He left it here!! :))
