Hahaa it’s mopeds onLy! I told her, after she signed me up on the honey-do list. I’ve been fighting back! Snuck in here and finished the transfers, fit some plastic fins in the flywheel for fun and even snapped off a 7mm stud in the new holes I had ready for the cylinder. DoHH!

The clip tho, sheetmetal 1.93mm thick, if I cut the ramp tab off the roller would fall out completely cuz it’s smaller diameter. could sand Amm off the bottom to fit it a fuzz deeper mabe a steeper ramp angle

Take a look see, I’ll have better pics of the tolerances after I bend some more. ThaD be neat if it works cuz the ramps and shit in the stock drive face sucKSsasS!

It don’t look too bad as is, with the face open. Might have to shim the ramp plate a fuzz.

Needs some fine tuning, it was tight work getting in there with my grandpa glasses on, coping the ramp plate curve onto a piece of tape. Copied it with an ink pen then transferred it onto the sheet then cut it out with a band saw.

I zoomed in a screenshot pic to outline the transmission hack.

Sorry about the hold up results on the Tecumseh, I’m moving things around for moped ergonomics, I’ll get it back on, had to trim and patch a piece of the header that I thought was too close to the clutch. the filler between the tank and frame and footrest tank tail piece. I did a little here and there bent and tacked on to finish the lines.

Pics are about the same. Duh

I kept 4 of these brackets from the electric bed actuators. It looks like a quick engine bracket solution since the frame is flat on the bottom. Bolt a sheet to the back of the engine that attaches to a spacer tube then bent to the front mount. Something like that~

Hahaaa! Got to make sure I don’t run out of future jams,,, buT I ran out of hobbit wheels. Had to make due with the veshpah set off the shelf. I have the transmission but I really don’t want to fuck with that, been there. Easier to hack a hobbit transmission in to intercept the action.

JaysuN

It was a 3-5/8” hole saw with a steel bushing inserted into the center spline to guide the drill thru, worked greAt. Trimmed the hobbit hub around the spokes on the brake side for it to slide into the Vespa rim. It fits nice, I plan on tacking it together then squirting some filler in the void to finish out.

This shit should do unless u have a better ideaR

6F695D28-FAEF-4814-958C-4A7B9167068F.png

Holler if u know anything, the hub void is 3/8” x 1-1/4”. Seems like some badass filler.

Permatex "The Right Stuff" is good shit for making "rubber" mounts and such.

I skwuzz out a blob on a piece of inner tube and sat the battery of my 1/2" impact on it at an angle to lean the gun back a little, so it doesn't tip over when you sit it down with a deep well socket on it.

Once it dried i purdy'd it up with a 2" cookie on a right angle grinder. It's been on there for years and hasn't peeled away at all, and it's still like rubbery, but firm.

I don't know what the hell it is, but it's awesome.

Gotcha Gotcha, I started it up. With the 138 jet four stroking, I worked my way down to 120 changing out the Polini jets.

Got to 120, started wondering how far down it was going. That was a lot of jetting! I shot some compressed air into the carb from about 2’ and it ripped. The belt went over the front vario, looking at it thru the frame. I have a taller rear pulley on it new as well. I’ll fix it up with a red contra and a higher set of clutch springs then sick burnout vids!!!

Pics of the 3-5/8” hole saw with a 1/4” pilot. That fit perfect inside a Home Depot tube. I use the tube a lot for 6mm spacer situations. A piece of that fits great inside the 10mm axle spacer. I had to lightly hammer it into the Vespa splines. That’s how I’dood it on hand without too much concern about hacking a nice wheel up.
