Re: Puch e50 kickstart

Kickstart cases, clutch bell, clutch and then the rest of your E-50 parts should swap over I believe.

Just get a kickstart engine because in addition to all the stuff above you need the kickstart unit too.

They have a kickstart unit that works with regular cases all you have to do is bore some holes but those are hard to fine

No you need a whole different engine

Or this unit plus a kickstart clutch

As well as drilling holes and mounting shimming the unit correctly to your engine

Re: Puch e50 kickstart

NO.....It is not that easy..... Fast Arrow conversion...or...another engine itself...

Re: Puch e50 kickstart

Yeah a pullstart would be easier

Re: Puch e50 kickstart

with the fast arrow kit you use a standard e50 clutch.

Re: Puch e50 kickstart

Yes to what Andrew said. Easier, simpler, cheaper ,faster, better to maintain.

You will want to do this. Puch E50 pull kit

Am I going to hell? (edited)

I've got a couple kickstart e50, they are great if complete and in spec but can be a pain to find parts sometimes. I just installed one of the kits from cheetah on a customer bike and I have to agree with him.

Kick starting a bike looks 100% cooler then pull starting though.

You can say that two times.

Re: Puch e50 kickstart

I personally like the pullstart over the kickstart. Here's some one in Europe with a few kick start engines for sale. https://www.mopedarmy.com/forums/read.php?2,4145140,4145210#msg-4145210

Re: Puch e50 kickstart

Not hating on Will Jansen, but i could get you a kickstart engine (not rebuilt) for a lot less than 260$

I hate kickstart engines myself, i'd rather push start for 1 meter than kickstart and by god hope it works.

Must be nice. I've never ridden a bike that hasn't stalled out at some point. Trying to push start a bike in traffic is not only humiliating but extremely dangerous around here. God help anyone not moving when the light turns green.
