Has anyone tried this varispring?

I was searching online for cheap mods and ran into this, the one they sell at treats is $94 and if the functions is the same at a cheaper cost then I'd like to get more info.

Here's the link to the website I found it on.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. Thank you!

Re: Has anyone tried this varispring?

That was a booster as an assist to the original spring, rather than getting a 2 or 4 ball ramp, opening the variator and having only two balls. Worked goodly on a bike with a 15mm carb and derestricted exhause. Works excellent if you have one that is ported for higher rpm if you also stuff the counterspring. Could use a heavier spring on the varispring and stuffing the original if you are kitted, launch lever also helps.

Ciao Time /

Would it be best to just get the lever?

Re: Has anyone tried this varispring?

If you are 100% stock then just the lever will help you get up the hills as well as quasi-downshift for getting out of corners. Sort of handy to have but if you are better than stock then changing the ball weight to spring rate ratio is always the best way to go.

The vario spring is not difficult to do, stuffing the counterspring is likely the easiest and cheapest mod you will ever be able to do.

I've tried vaporising but don't use regularly

Stuffing the spring helps a lot, and definitely get a launch lever.

I've had really good luck with gas struts. And they're cheap.
