best water cooled kit for e50

Okay, I know this may sound silly to some of you, but where can a dude get a water cooled kit for a puch around here? I know a simple search with both variables in them won't cut the mustard. Is there an alternative kit that fits the right dimensions or close to that of the e50?

Re: best water cooled kit for e50

kx85

Re: best water cooled kit for e50

Totally normal JBOT /

Buy one of these and put it on any normal AC kit.

With just a good wc head, temps will stay about the same as with a wc kit.

Stroke is way off (something like 39.xmm) better to use dt80/tzr80 (42mm). From what I have seen the Euro sprinter guys are running kx85, mbx50, and minarelli scooter kits. The minarelli scooter kits need to be case inducted though.

Re: best water cooled kit for e50

There's a wc 47.6mm kit for minarellis running 43mm stroked cranks by Athena. After wrist pin heights it's only about a mm too tall on the cases. Mill 1.5 mm off, space case induct. Bam. No link though. Search for it. Amazon has them.

Portugal boys run that athena and stock cyls bored to 42-46mm on 43mm stroke cranks.

Re: best water cooled kit for e50

I have a 77 mopeds WC head on my 80cc kitted magnum and it dropped the temps about 100 deg. I am using a Treatland radiator without a water pump, just using thermosyphon to move the anti-freeze. Works great. I was involved in a WC conversion on a E50 that we converted to case induction and it is quite a bit of work. Lot of machining and welding and trial and error.

It turned out good and its currently installed on modified magnum x. For me the WC head was the way to go, definitely recommend it.

rv4/5/6 kits actually almost bolt right on... mike t has one on a v1, all he had to do was, make a spacer(pretty big one for a v1), get an hpi to run the water pump, custom pipe/intake, fancy clutch, straight gears, kickstart conversion and dual disc brakes. Then the second week after finishing everything you could possibly do, he blew a hole in the piston on the long since discontinued malossi 70cc kit.

yea I'd bet those would be pretty easy stroke is 42mm and if they fit v1's with a spacer and v1 dudes are running puch cylinders with a spacer too, it cant be too bad.
