Wow 14/45 is already enough to climb a near verticle incline. I have my wife's e50 on 16/40 with mk65 and it pulls me hard up hills and she's a good bit lighter than me. I know mine are set to 25lbs although it could vary depending on what part of the shoe you get your measurement from. I have a two sho in it now with orange springs. It really doesn't matter what springs as long as you don't have them bottomed out and you can get them to engage where you want without bottoming them out. What pipe do you have? That could have a bit to do with where in the rpm range your making power.
