Home made stuffy crankshaft

Anyone ever try filling the counter balance holes on the crankshaft to get rid of some case volume? I think pressing in some aluminum or magnesium would be best. Do you think epoxy would work? I heard "Splash Zone" is some good stuff. What have you done?

Re: Home made stuffy crankshaft

you can press fit aluminum

slugs in the hole.

cover with epoxy. should

hold together.

cheap way is to epoxy cork

slugs in there. won*t affect

balance of crank and if it

lets go your engine won*t

suffer.

back in the day this was old hat
