Any thought on these two kits

Going to buy a kit for my ped. I can't decide between this

Or this one.

This will be my first kit. Planning on running a 14 Bing and haven't decided on pipe. I'm going to use my stock head will I have problems with the decomp hole on the airsal cylinder with my stock head.

What other kit do you guys recomend. I will be doing this on my maxi and my gfs maxi too she has a 14 Bing and a proma circuit pipe.

Would love some advice. Thanks.

Get the treats reed kit 44mm or 45mm, its a better mach for your pipe and carb combo.

good 45-50mph setup.

If the Reed kit seems too much I've had good luck with its Piston Port sibling, the Kstar.

Either kit is super forgiving and will give you a fun ped in the end.

Re: Any thought on these two kits

Well, if you are just gonna slap it on there without case mathcing or adding a new crankshaft grab the 64cc one, otherwise the 70cc one is a little more powerful. The stock head will be fine with either, but not ideal. If your keeping the stock crank definatley go with either a estoril or proma circuit, I'm into the circuits on maxis because you wont hit your heel on the pipe when you pedal. Also dont forget to re-gear. I wouldnt go to far though, probably 17 or mayyybe 18x45. South East L.A. isn't that flat.

Agreed the 64cc has smaller ports to match probably a better kit for a newbie

Re: Any thought on these two kits

I like the 45mm, good quality, easy match, boost ports, torque, no clearance issues like the treats/kstars etc. If You're doing two bikes get one of each, you don't want your gf to be faster than you do you? ;)

The new 70cc airsal kit has boost ports but old ones that may be in stock don't have boost ports so make sure your getting what you order online

Re: Any thought on these two kits

Ok so one of each. I'll put the 64 on hers lol. Crank, can't do that yet limited funds. Reason why I can't get the reed kit. Too much cash. I just want her too keep up with traffic. She works at Disney and people drive horribly there. So I want her to have just a little more power to make her way around cars. And me I'm sick of driving my Prius saves me gas but man super boring. case matching. I have read up on that part. Have a dremel not afraid to use it. What bit do you guys use to grind those cases. I'm eager to learn here.

no, you should get the 64 for both. it's actually way better and more reliable, two piston rings=less friction/wear and cooler temps as well as les blow-by. you honestly shouldnt be revving past 8k for extended periods of time with the stock crank so blasting down imperial hwy is kinda a bad idea unless it's geared for crusing at 45.
