grande bogging down, fuel probs?

Alright so 65 cc kit, hi comp head, hi flow filter, upgraded pipe, 12 12 carb with #70 jet. My grande fires up like a champ and drives like a bat out of hell...... Until the end of my block. After that its sluggish and very slow to accelerate. Ive got the points gapped at. 018 a nice slightly rich jet. What is going on here? Im guessing its a fuel mix/delivery problem. I used to have 1/4" fuel line with inline filter, downgraded to 3/16" thinking it might be getting too much fuel, same deal as before. Any ideas or anyone have this same problem? Thanks in advance for the help.

Clean the petcock and banjo. Sounds like your carb Is running out of fuel.

is this a time issue, 2 minutes and it craps out, or throttle opening / rpm?

.018 points gap is advancing from stock, have you had a timing light on it?

what jets other then 70 have you tried, with what results?

gut says either jetting, or losing spark, really comes down to how it behaves when you say it's sluggish.

every time, whole throttle range, or just wider throttle openings?
