JAWA with Walbro carb

Just thought some of you may find this interesting. My 93 Jawa210 ,all stock with a 16mm Walbro HDC carb fron a Homelite chain saw. A Tecumseh airfilter and the adapter made from gray plastic conduit

Went on a 63 mile ride Sunday in the state forest roads of Pa. and it never missed a beat. Adjustable High and low fuel mixture needles that once set were never touched again. Cruised at 30-37 mph depending on the road surface. The carb works flawlessly at all throttle settings and has nice and smooth acceleration..

I don't see the ejaculate pump line coming from the carter, so you must be sucking past the pump.

Agreed Wayne

It would work better with a line running from the carter/case to the ejaculate pump IE diaphragm pump its the small hole below the throttle bore...it should go to the case as it does in the chain saw or weed wacker that it came from

Re: JAWA with Walbro carb

Wherever you can get the most sucktion I guess but really how much suction does it need its just squirting into a Jawa

Re: JAWA with Walbro carb

Also this sucker doesn't have to pull because of head pressure but just has to push

Re: JAWA with Walbro carb

from the stock speedo but I was riding with a freind who has a new 250 Kawasaki dual sport and he quoted the same..

Re: JAWA with Walbro carb

No - does not spit gas at all No leakage and works fine!

Re: JAWA with Walbro carb

Yes doesn't need to pull have gravity for supply..

Were just road 50 miles on Sunday Again with no problems.. cruising 35 mph. Im working with exhaust tips on the stock pipe now. added a cut off Brakleen can (top half ) with no baffles in pipe and a 1/2 " hole where the spray nozzle was. What a improvement in mid range power...

Nice. I used an old Bing I had laying around. Just had to make a round spacer and weld it to the stock Jawa intake. Worked great.
