So as graham can attest , the one bad idea (not mentioned) is to take off the crush washer from the plug insert the trailtech dealie and then put the crush washer back on. You can't get a fell for whether the sparkplug is correctly following the threads on the head. I've ruined three heads of late by such cross threading. I know trailtech says to substitute their sensor for the crush washer but after a while the trail tech deal gerpts warped and twisted from pulling and looking at the plug. I dare melted out the trailtech ring a tiny amount and put it on the threads with the crush washer never removed. It hand starts nicely.
Levi Harris ' red moby has a gigantic temp sensor and tach unit that with the 14 mm sparkplug ring is over $200. It's the bomb. It's illuminated at night. Unless I am wrong the trailtech isn't illuminated so when night riding and testing (yea I have a day job) it's kinda useless.
