yeah i agree with ken on 96-97% of everything, maybe not so much about his choices in cats-dressed-as-disney-character porn, but almost everything mopeds. I agree that if you want to use it permanently installed as a safety measure, removing the gasket is the 'correct' way to do it, but running it with the gasket on doesn't make it more/less 'accurate' because it doesn't mean anything objective to begin with.
i just had to vent because i get sick of people on here taking the CHT as the word of god.... like 'the oracle says 400, sacrifice a virgin and do a rain dance or something'
the dangerous part is that people see a certain arbitrary temp and assume they are safe. like, it should have a warning label that says 'a reading of 340 degrees is not a substitute for a properly tuned bike'
